The employees of Ferrari Dealerships Jacksonville did not only work together. I had never encountered a work force such as them. I had joined the dealership as a car salesman a week ago, and was already being pulled into their close and friendly group. They did not force me to go with them on their various field trips; I felt myself wanting to go! Each and every one of the employees knew each other well. Even if they didn’t, they enjoyed each others’ company. I found this odd because I never thought work relationships stretched to become personal. I also didn’t know if it was beneficial or not. I found out soon, and I was pleasantly surprised. Because things were so informal and casual between us employees, I found it was easier to work in the dealership because I was working alongside not just co-workers, but good friends as well. They cheered me up when I was down and made me feel like I was home. This was a good business strategy, because it ensured that the car salesmen in this dealership did not readily lose optimism or energy.
